One of the iconic places in Iceland near village Vik. Just imagine this pure black sand and rocks near black basalt cave and a little sad and romantic legend about a husband who lost his wife. He found her dead, but her free spirit was here, at Reynisfyara. That’s why this place is a favorite for elopement of two lovers.
This is a valley in the southwestern part of Iceland, near the Reykjanes peninsula, as well as the Þingvellir National Park. Thingvellir, is a special place because of breathtaking fact that the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates meet here.
The waterfall on the Skógá River located in the cliffs of the former coastline near the village of Skógar. According to the legend the first Viking who settled here, Þrasi Þórólfsson, hid his treasures in a cave behind a waterfall. After many years one boy found it, but a chest disappeared!
Situated on the North this waterfall is one of the unique with great historical value. 12 meters high and 30 meters wide looks like artificial and magical because of it’s symmetrical form.
The most photographed mountain in Iceland – “Church Mountain” – located on the Snæfellsnes Peninsula. People called it like this ‘cause of similarity to the church spire. Incredible mountain has repeatedly starred in the movies, in “Game of Thrones” for example.
It’s Iceland's largest glacial lake or lagoon in southeastern Iceland. It is a favorite newlyweds visiting point because of beauty and immensity of this place. If you want to see the icebergs stuck around the lagoon you must visit this lake!
Once isolated, Iceland become more and more popular among tourists and couples in love. Easy to come from Europe, US, Canada, China and many other countries Iceland attracts more than two millions people a year.
No need to say, that all this landscapes, basalt rocks and lava fields look like another planet. Iceland is the land of mighty waterfalls, active volcanos and eternal glaciers. You can find many picturesque location for shooting almost on every step. And of course, don't forget about Nothern Lights.
Countless churches situated in fantastic landscape, some of them isolated from tourists. It helps you to feel yourself more private during the ceremony and photo session. Also Iceland accept every one, no mater their race, religion and sexuality.
